Tampa/Orlando Visits: Schools

Honorarium

  • $1275 for a full day.

  • A full day includes: up to 4 60 minute presentations and 2 meet and greets/book signings with the YA Chicks.

  • $750 for a half day.

  • A half day includes: 2 60 minute presentations and 1 meet and greet/book signing.

  • Add on an after school signing event or book fair for an additional $60.

  • The Chicks do not want limited funds to discourage you from booking an event, but given the time away and travel expenses incurred, a very limited amount of pro bono or reduced appearances are booked each year.

  • The Chicks will provide an event packet which includes: an event poster, event flyer, pre-event suggested activities, teacher guides, pre-event videos, workshop handouts, as well as the following swag for every participant: custom pencils, bookmarks, and signed YA Chicks posters.

Out of Area Visits: Schools

Honorarium

  • $1275 per day plus travel expenses (gas reimbursement or airfare, hotel accommodations, transportation if needed) anywhere in the continental United States.

  • Full days include up to 4 60 minute presentations and 2 meet and greets/book signings with the YA Chicks.

  • $750 per half day plus travel expenses (see above description)

  • Half days include up to 2 presentations and a meet and greet/book signing.

  • An additional after school or evening signing event can be added for $60. 

  • This honorarium is negotiable, although travel expenses are not. If you are interested in doing a bulk book order instead, please contact the Chicks for more information.

  • The Chicks do not want limited funds to discourage you from booking an event, but given the time away and travel expenses incurred, they cannot afford to do pro bono visits outside of Tampa and Orlando at this time.

  • The Chicks will provide an event packet which includes: a poster, event flyer, pre-event suggested activities, teacher guides, customized book order forms, pre-event videos, workshop handouts, and swag: custom pencils, bookmarks, and signed YA Chicks posters for each participant.

Overseas Visits: Schools

Honorarium

  • $4000 per day plus all travel expenses (meals, lodging, airfare, and ground transportation).

  • This fee includes up to 4 presentations plus a book signing and/or meet and greet per day. 

  • The Chicks will provide customized posters and promotional materials for all events.

  • The Chicks will provide an event packet which includes: a poster, event flyer, pre-event suggested activities, teacher guides, customized book order forms, pre-event videos, workshop handouts, and the following swag: custom pencils, bookmarks, and signed YA Chick posters for every participant.

Writers Groups, Libraries, Writers Festivals, and Keynote Events

  • Pricing given upon request. Fees depend on location, travel expenses, and number of panels/presentations, and signing times.

  • We are currently working on a comprehensive pricing plan and will update soon.

  • The Chicks will provide an event packet which includes: a poster, event flyer, pre-event suggested activities, teacher guides, customized book order forms, pre-event videos, workshop handouts, and the following swag: custom pencils, bookmarks, and signed YA Chick posters for every participant.
